Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens
American Heart Association Certified
This course teaches employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction.
This course is available in two formats: Classroom and Online. If a student chooses the online version, they can complete this course at their own pace. No hands-on skills session is required. It takes approximately 1 hour to complete. A certificate is available to print upon successful completion of the course.
This course can be taken in the traditional classroom format or the blended (part online + in-person skills session) format.
Includes a 2-year certification card.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose.
